A three-part exhibition project by Radio Paint (Part I)

Radio has always been something deeply intimate: something spoken to you—or by you. Just a voice, music, rhythm. It hardly matters whether you are listening while running, driving, or alone in the kitchen late at night. Good radio is always the right conversation at the right moment.

We turn the dial, searching for the right frequency, hoping to hear what we have been waiting for. So as not to be alone—or, perhaps, so that solitude itself becomes a source of comfort. And sometimes we go on air ourselves, simply to be heard.

aha, you hear that radio too is a three-part project by Radio Paint, the online painting studio founded by Tanya Ivankova. It is about those who persist in sending messages and those who receive them; about radio waves traveling from sender to receiver; about the invisible frequencies that bring people together.
