"Amber, in which everything has stopped, grown still, and is bathed in an even orange light: pain and fear have receded, dreams continue alongside reality, and courage is no longer equal to recklessness but to life itself. With archaeological meticulousness, we approach the artist's escapism not as an act of escape but as an expedition. Here there is the wonder of discovery, the thrill of searching for something untouched, unscarred by time, and a desperate love for everything that has yet to happen—and that we will never know.

All irresolvable conflicts, dramas, and attempts to survive remain in the past. We find ourselves looking at the disarming final happy moment of a film, frozen as the closing credits begin to roll. Do we really need to know what happens next? Do we truly want to know everything, or is it enough that someone found the courage to tell us their story—and adorned it so beautifully that their world no longer wounds us? As for me, let the amber drop remain amber."
