"Lately, we've found ourselves working more with systems of signs than with complete narratives. We break everything down into the smallest particles to construct something resembling crossings—fragments of solid ground. We throw makeshift bridges over gaps and lacunae, trying our best. We meticulously record every failure and, more than ever, celebrate every success. Yet we often have neither the time nor energy for analysis or reflection—for internal reframing.
In this constant state of deconstruction, even those of us who prefer working alone begin to feel burdened by the ego-space, where centrifugal forces pull only toward one's own practice, a sequence of hits and misses. It becomes essential to see another person nearby, to shift the center of gravity away from oneself. Not only to experience, but to co-experience: who are we to each other, how can we exist side by side without wounding ourselves or each other—and is it even possible?
This is a time of collaboration. To me, it’s about the Human. And about love for the human, of course."

"The exhibition One-on-One is a meditation on the mentor–student relationship, which I believe is vital to the creative industry in general, and to our institution in particular. On one hand, collaboration is always an attempt to merge the unexpected—it’s about finding common ground, discovering new ways of working with methods and materials, and stepping outside one’s creative comfort zone. On the other hand, collaboration between students and teachers on a single project expands the traditional boundaries of student community interaction, allowing us to continue a dialogue where there is a genuine sense of equality and horizontality in every sense. Because it’s the work of young and established artists together that forms what we call a School."
