“I strain, but I can’t remember. Each day the faces change, and something slips away, flattens out, shifts form, becomes part of the crowd. I can’t remember my own face, and I often wonder: do I even know this person? Did I ever?”
“A face separated from the body — what does it have to do with our experience of the self? Appearance is as fluid as the personality behind it. In an attempt to look inward, the artist iterates her own face based on a past 3D model, creating a multitude of copies with no original.”
